Cross Card with Refuge and Strength stamp set

Cross Card

This is a very easy card!  We used one of my favorite stamp sets, called Refuge and Strength, item #115056, $23.95, page 53 in the catalog.  Here are the simple steps:

1.      Stamp the little “leafy” image from the set, with Versamark Ink, onto a Tempting Turquoise folded card.

2.      Stamp cross on shimmery white piece 2 ¼” by 3 ½”, using Tempting Turquoise ink.  Layer that piece onto a slightly larger piece of Tempting Turquoise, stick them together and set aside.

3.      Cut a strip of Apricot Appeal cardstock, 5 ½” wide by 2” tall.  Punch the right edge of this with the Scallop Trim Border punch (free SAB item).  Then stamp the greeting of your choice, with Tempting Turquoise inkpad – leaving about ½” between the greeting and the border punch.  Affix this strip to your card with mini glue dots.

4.      Affix your turquoise and white cross piece to your card, over the strip, with Stampin’ Dimensionals to make it pop up a little.

5.      That’s it!  You can also stamp a white envelope with the cross if you like.
